Approving a user

This article explains how to approve a user using a Manager's authorisation

If you notice the following prompt upon launching DDBook, it means that the user hasn’t been approved.

This message could show up if:

  1. A user was setup without Manager Authorisation
  2. Details of this user were changed without Manager’s Authorisation

You will require your Manager’s password to approve a user.
If you can’t remember your Manager’s password and require a reset code, please contact Modeus Support.
If you know your Manager’s password, follow the steps below

  1. Go to Lists > Users
    a. When you are here, you will notice that all the unapproved users are highlighted in red
  2. Highlight the user you wish to approve
    DO NOT double click. Only click once on the user to highlight the entry
  3. Click on the Actions button on the top right hand side
  4. Select ‘Approve Selected User
